The Nouwen Society offers you an invitation to deepen your spiritual life, to re-root yourself in God's love, and to strengthen your commitment to love your various neighbors. Henri Nouwen's message of hope, understanding, and compassion in the midst of incredible disparities of wealth has inspired tens of thousands of people to reach out in Christian love to others they might not have noticed if they hadn't heard Henri Nouwen speak or read his books.

The Nouwen Society seeks to gather people who have been influenced by Henri's spirituality, to introduce others to his rich legacy, and to provide means for them to nurture community. You can participate in this ministry by becoming a Friend of the Society.
